Dr. Chelsea Moreland
Board-Certified Family Physician & Founder of Life Cycle Direct Primary Care
Dr. Chelsea Mooreland, known as “The Community Doctor,” is a Board-Certified Family Physician and the founder of Life Cycle Direct Primary Care (DPC), a subscription-based concierge practice dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable care that eliminates racial health and financial disparities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and her medical doctorate from The Ohio State University, where she also completed her residency training with a focus on women’s health and obstetrics.
Dr. Mooreland’s commitment to health equity has earned her national recognition. In 2022, she was named a “40 Under 40 Leader in Health” by the National Minority Quality Forum for her innovative approach to healthcare. Dr. Mooreland was also selected to participate in the Black Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program (BWEL) through Babson College, gaining invaluable tools to scale Life Cycle DPC. She continues to serve as faculty in Family Medicine Obstetrics at Grant Family Practice, where she mentors the next generation of healthcare professionals.
As a loving wife and mother of five boys, Dr. Mooreland values the balance the DPC model offers, allowing her to be fully present for her family while providing exceptional care to her patients. She is passionate about addressing the social determinants of health and empowering her patients to take control of their health. Dr. Mooreland lives by the scripture Luke 12:48, “To whom much is given, much is required,” which inspires both her professional and personal life.
